Privacy Policy

Data We Collect

• Card collection data — player, set, year, brand, grade, variation, card number, and notes you enter about your cards.
• Card photos you upload to identify, scan, or value your inventory.
• Account information — your name and email, obtained via Google OAuth sign-in. We do not access your Google contacts, Drive, or any other Google account data.
• Usage analytics — aggregated, anonymized data about which features you use and how often, so we can improve CardWit.

How We Use Data

• Inventory management — catalogue, organize, search, and edit your sports card collection.
• Price lookups — query eBay sold-comp listings so we can estimate the current market value of your cards.
• QR showroom sharing — generate QR codes and public showroom links for the cards you choose to share.
• Market analysis — track value trends, price movers, and aggregate analytics to surface insights about your collection.

Third-Party Services

• Google OAuth — used for sign-in only. We receive your verified name and email; we never access other Google account data.
• eBay / SoldComps API — used to retrieve recent eBay sold-comparable listings for price estimation. Only your card queries (player, year, set, grade) are sent; your purchase prices or profit data are never shared with them.

Data Retention

We keep your inventory, photos, and account information for as long as your account is active. Your data is deleted when you delete your account (available in Settings) or when you request deletion in writing. Subscription records are retained only as needed for legal bookkeeping.

Your Rights

• Access — view your inventory, account info, and analytics at any time inside the app.
• Export — download your collection as a CSV from Settings.
• Delete — remove data by contacting support@cardwit.co or by deleting your account directly in the app.
